The Catalyst Design and a team lead by Clearscapes Architecture are developing the master plan for the church sanctuary and property located in downtown Durham, NC. Roberta developed a project governance structure and led congregation and stakeholder engagement utilizing a series of in-person meetings and workshops, including 6 miniworkshops for children through elderly focus groups adjusting content and activities per group; and organized and managed a monthly technical committee and series of stakeholder focus group meetings resulting in a firm consensus for the church community. The resulting plan envisions an emergency shelter with day services and a mixed use/mixed income development.
